French women look slim though they enjoy their daily lives as normal, like going to the restaurant, drinking coffee while eating a plate full of fries. We wonder how they could still keep fit with all these stuff they are doing. Well, let us take a look together of tips the French women shared with us that prove effective on them already.
You don’t have to go to the gym
Orsoni, a French woman, shared about her tips that she always spends her busy time doing some movement. Actually, she kept walking while we were talking on the phone. She said that her simple tricks is to do 50 jumping before breakfast, to walk over to have a talk with someone instead of sending an email, to squat when you pee rather than sitting. These simple daily movements can reduce her calorie up to 400 a day.
Portion is important
People seem to take no notice of the amount of food they eat when they go to the restaurant, especially in America. They usually serve very large amount of food in restaurants. You should pay attention to this matter. Cut half of that amount and add more veggies instead.
Reduce Glycemic Load in food
Glycemic Load (GL) has an effect on blood sugar control. With less GL, it means the food contains higher water and fiber. For example, a French woman’s typical foods with low GL are pancake with strawberry jam, fruit and yogurt, salad, and fish.
Supplements are not recommended
Taking supplements as the ways to lose weight are not French women’s favorite. They prefer to get vitamins and minerals from foods and fruit.
Separate work from your personal life
After work, don’t mix your feelings with it because you will feel stressed, and this will lead you to an increase of cortisol levels. This substance make your body keep fat around abdomen.
